Cora Tucker diary and correspondence, 1909-1942.

Cora Tucker's incoming correspondence, 1909-1914, is primarily from friend Molly Starr of Willimantic, Connecticut, and from friends and family congratulating her on the birth of her son. The diary covers the years 1938-1942 and is filled with activities related to the state Grange and local pomonas, in which both Cora and her husband were involved. Also includes mentions of visits and daily chores. Written in Cora's hand is a list of daily chores, each written on a separate sheet of paper, on both sides. Monday was wash day, Tuesday was for ironing. The collection also includes a poem by Henry VanDyke transcribed by Cora, rent receipts, 1911, and a program for a play in which Cora had a part, undated. Cora and Edgar Tucker lived in Bridgeport and Trumbull, Connecticut.
